Convert any marketplace or e-commerce report into portal-ready GSTR-1 JSON
Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, your own online store — every platform exports sales differently, and Tally can't read any of them. Ankeksha's GSTR-1 Studio auto-detects the format from the data itself and returns portal-ready GSTR-1 JSON in under a minute — no platform-picking step.
Try it freeThe problem it solves
If you or your CA file GST for marketplace sellers, the month goes like this: download each platform's report, hand-map every column, classify each line, and re-key it into Tally to generate the return. A chartered accountant with 20–100 seller clients spends the month on data entry instead of advisory. TallyPrime generates GSTR-1 well — once the data is inside it. What it can't do is read an Amazon MTR or a Flipkart report in the first place. That gap is the entire job.
How it works
- Upload. Upload the marketplace report (Excel or CSV) exactly as the platform exported it.
- Auto-detect. Ankeksha recognises the format from the shape of the data (GSTIN patterns, date formats, state names, tax-rate slabs) — you never pick a platform from a dropdown.
- Classify & aggregate. Every line is classified into B2B, B2CL, B2CS, CDNR or CDNUR, and the HSN and B2CS summaries are rolled up.
- Validate. The data is checked against GSTN rules (date format, invoice numbers, tax splits, rate slabs, B2CL thresholds) before you download.
- Download JSON. Download portal-ready GSTR-1 JSON and upload it straight to gst.gov.in.
Reports it reads today
- Amazon MTR — both B2B and B2C variants (handles decimal/half-rate tax columns, timestamped dates, and text state names)
- Flipkart — detected by FSN + event/fulfilment type
- Meesho — including returns
- Snapdeal — pre-aggregated by GSTR section
- Unknown Excel/CSV — sniffed by the shape of the data when it is not a known platform
…and any other marketplace or store export — unknown formats are detected by the shape of the data, so you are not limited to a fixed list of platforms.

Why it's different
- No “pick your platform” step. Generic converters make you tell them the format first. Ankeksha reads the file and figures it out — the only way to handle a mixed pile of reports from a whole client book, including platforms it has never seen before.
- Built for CAs, not just one seller. The same engine sits behind a multi-client dashboard, so a CA runs their entire book through one place.
- Validated before you file. GSTN rule-checks up front, not a portal rejection after upload.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work with Amazon MTR (Merchant Tax Report)?
Yes — both the B2B and B2C variants. It handles Amazon’s decimal and half-rate tax columns, timestamped dates, and uppercase state names automatically.
Do I need to tell it which marketplace the file is from?
No. It auto-detects the format from the data itself, so you can upload Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho or Snapdeal without choosing a platform first.
Can it merge multiple marketplaces into one GSTR-1?
Yes — that is the point. Upload reports from several platforms and it aggregates them into a single return.
Is the JSON validated before I download it?
Yes. It is checked against GSTN rules (date format, invoice numbers, tax splits, rate slabs, B2CL thresholds) before download, so you are not fixing rejections on the portal.
Does it handle B2CL (interstate over ₹2.5 lakh) and Table 14 (ECO-wise)?
Yes. Interstate invoices above the B2CL threshold are classified correctly, and marketplace (ECO) supplies are grouped for Table 14 reporting.
Does it export Tally XML too?
Tally XML export is on the roadmap. Today the Studio produces portal-ready GSTR-1 JSON.
